Cynicism is a word we use to describe people who have had their blinders removed.
Everyone talks about the allegory of the cave but the things about a cave are it is dark and well protected.
Out here, where the air is fresh and the world is cold, there are hunters and the light of the truth cast by the sun is so bright and fierce it'll burn a hole straight through someone if they aren't careful.
The world is a wilderness full of monsters and anarchist tribes who wear the faces of their enemies like masks and call themselves "friend" before they eat you.
