Grass is always greener on the other side of the fence...til you get to the other side of the fence. Lots has changed since the Christine Jorgensen era, and not for the better. Back then a transexual had to meet a bunch of conditions, like undergoing a load of psychiatric junk, living as a transvestite for a year, etc. Now it looks like anyone that can pay for the surgery (and even some that can't) are fast-tracked. Act in haste, repent at leisure!
