From the post:

>A Pizza Hut restaurant in Southern New Jersey appears to have never left the 90s with its vintage decor and rare offering of the chain's beloved buffet. Stepping inside Egg Harbor Township's Pizza Hut can feel as if you accidentally entered a time machine at the sight of the classic checkered red and white tablecloths, a Pac-Man arcade game, and the $9.99 buffet. However, the pizza place wasn't exactly frozen in time. According to NJ.com, the restaurant briefly closed its doors in 2025 for a retro remodeling.

I've been looking for an original pizza hut lamp for years but they're way expensive as a collectible.

Smartphones with cameras and internet ruined flea markets.

You find people with a "side hustle" walking around the place (now even using AI) to look up what they can sell something for online so now its ultra rare to have a "good find". Even something as simple as old cast iron that needs to be re-habed.

Exactly. I watched a vid the other day of some reseller dude complaining about other resellers that have "ruined the hobby"- fucking asshole.

I just literally threw out a bag of perfectly wearable clothes so none of these fuckers or the "charity" stores could sell them at full price.

The video shows resellers literally walking up to homeless people and buying their old coats and jeans off them to resell them.

Oh the irony of a reseller (parasite) complaining about another parasite ruining their "hobby" (side hustle).

The old school hut in my town has long since been demolished. Its just the small and boring modern style restaurants with little or no seating.

Pizza Hut is actually converting a lot of their restaurants to the older 80s/90s style. This is a strategic move rather than a fluke. They are also bringing back more buffets as well. Their logo is even redesigned to be more like the old version.

Inside Pizza Hut restaurant that's still EXACTLY like it was in the 90s...

That is a false statement. Even the article says that the restaurant was converted to the vintage design starting at the end of 2025. There are no Pizza Huts that stayed unchanged since the 90s and all the "new" Pizza Hut Classics (approximately 82 stores) are retrofits. It's all marketing. The video below says more about the changes and reasons.

Starbucks went back to the old school design because the new jew ceo realized it had turned to shit (haven't been in a starbucks in at least 20 years)

Yeah, the one from my home town never "updated" but it did change, that is for sure.

If they went back to using REAL food ingredients as they had in the early '80s, they would be busier than they once were.

I agree. There is a reason that everyone that is in their 40's+ remember food being "better". Because it WAS better.

Now its mostly chemical bullshit and fillers. The only way to get around it is to make your own food and if you can grow your own food.

We live in a sick world and it is sad.
