I jumped to conclusions, seeing as how a lot of old farts still use the drill they bought at Sears 50 years ago, with an extension cord, and a bit made from a cut-down screwdriver. I saw that exact scenario as a contractor, several times, when the old fart homeowner wanted to do something to show me he's not totally useless.
