Once lived in a part of Phx where chickens had roamed around since before WWII, sometime around the nineties when the places were get’n old and run down and the beaners were moving in the chickens just disappeared.
On the other hand, I’ve a friend that lives in Mesa, AZ that’s a 55+ plus community with nice well kept homes. Nearly all White enough to say it is. Area sits well away from any desert environs, but has quite a few desert fox that keep the community entertained with no problems.
