LOL I looked to find a nature sub - and there was none.

This is how I keep ending up with new subs. I feel I should make it clear that I'm absolutely not trying to take all the good subs, it's just none of you folks have taken the time to make 'em before I got to them.

Again, if y'all want to moderate this sub (or take ownership if such is possible) then let me know by submitting content.

I don't actually want all these subs - I just need places to put the things I'm interested in. So, you now have s/Nature.

I'm sure it's wonderful, but it's not one that I'm likely to ever submit to. I only have so much space in my head for topics and I only have so much free time! ;-)

There's a few generic terms that should really be created - but they should so be created by someone who's not me. I've got too many damned subs already. There's one guy who's pretty sure I'm trying to take over the site. LOL So, I don't really need all these subs - I just need spots to submit content.

I've kind of squished and banged a few things together and stuck 'em in subs that'd be better off in different subs, but a nature sub seems pretty basic and important.

By the way, you can put nature pics in it!

LOL - I turned a list of subs we needed into PM a couple of days back ... precisely because I didn't want to make them myself. This was one on the list. He was gonna make them ... but clearly busy with real stuff now. These are the ones that anyone could probably make if they chose ...

Yeah, seven of those are things I'd probably submit to - at some point.

I have some free time during daylight hours today. (My schedule is changing and is rapidly filling up.) I'll see if I can do something constructive on Poal.

If PMYB2 ever gets a git situated, I'll spin up a VPS and actually take a look at the code. But, until then...

Your list is pretty solid. I come across content that'd fit in seven of 'em - and that I'd consider submitting. I did make the nature sub, so that's taken care of. There's no "food" sub, either. I just didn't feel like making a new sub, so I put cheese in farming. ;-)

Maybe we should just make a global post and list the subs we think could use a 'creator'. That'll give the folks here a chance to get in on ground floor opportunities. Like you, I see the need, but don't want to be seen as 'hogging' all the good subs - LOL. So I wasn't interested in creating them myself.

That seems like a brilliant idea to me.

With subs that I do have, I'm more than happy to put other folks in as mods and ask only that they show some history of contributing to the sub with new content. Other than that, I'm not picky. I just want places to post stuff and I'm not going to have much time. I'm already running into free time issues.

I suck at being retired. Really, I just suck at it.

See my list above. I PM'd these to PMYB2 when I realized we didn't have them the other day. He was gonna make some, but you guys are busy, so understandable. Figured I'd add my thoughts here and maybe some users will jump on 'em. I didn't want to make them myself, 'cause I have enough and didn't ant to look like some Reddit power dude or something - LOL
