Yikes. I don't think I've ever paid that much, even when I had two accidents and multiple speeding tickets when I was in my 20's.
I used to carry a small hospital policy through my agent that actually dropped my total premium by quite a bit just by having a multi-line policy through them. The hospital policy was free and knocked off a percentage from my auto when all said and done. Seems that somewhere that rider flipped and was costing me almost $30 a month on it's own. They were happy to not inform me of that.
I’m actually a licensed insurance agent so I know about all the little things you can do and in my state you get fucked no matter what on auto, it was supposed to get better in January due to limitless claims not being a thing legally anymore and the rates went up for almost everyone I know. Auto insurance in this state is a total scam
What sent you down the path of being an agent? That's nuts that the whole state is screwed auto insurance wise.
Well I heard you could make a good living doing it so I studied and took the tests. Then I found out you need tons of leads so I took a job.
