massive sales - Boston sold out of beer over the weekend at several places - but they don't tip so the servers union is sad
Yet another reason why tipping culture is stupid and should not exist unless you get exceptional service and want to put in some extra to show appreciation.
As I said in the main post. I worked service jobs. Tips were nice. It didn't matter how good of a job I did, I did not get a lot or high tips but I didn't expect them anyway. (No I am not like 60 or something). I got paid shit and if the "tips didn't make it up" they were forced to pay me the min wage.
Nah, I am service industry trained and in it long enough to where I now engineer and deploy technology around QSR and the like, so I get it.
The low skill workers will always find someone they can rally behind for more than they deserve.
