Couldn't be because people look at NY as an overpriced, overtaxed, shitty city that just smells bad like all cities do. I'll take tree's and grass and front and back yards any day over cement cars and pavement everyplace.

It will be so progressive and enlightened of you to give over power to niggers with an IQ of 85, who hate white people and, apparently, also Asians. Oh, and give some of that power to complete lunatics who don't know the difference between men and woman, and who dress up in Halloween costumes to come to work each day. They'll do a lot of good too, won't they?
Actually, there have been improvements under Eric Adams. He is far from an ideal candidate as he is a race pandering thief, but as horrible as that sounds, he is actually 10x better than his predecessor who caused all of these problems and whose allegedly reformed lesbian wife probably stole $850 Million from the city's coffers while helping her husband ruin the city. He is BY FAR the lesser of two evils when contrasted against DUHBlasio.
He has had some modest successes these first 3 months in office--most notably removing mask mandates for work and for kids in schools and for calling out the Marxist District Attorney Alvin Bragg who refuses to prosecute or detain/remand criminals. He has also reinstated the anti-crime street cops (although in a weakened state) and seems to want to expand Rikers Island rather than building satellite jails in residential neighborhoods like that fucking asshole DeBlasio was hell bent on doing.
