If 22 million people can hack it, so can you. NW coast is NOT like the rest of the state. There is usually a breeze here. Right now the wind is 30 mph. And my entire neighborhood is White.
Yeah, and every fucking year, you have to literally batten down the hatches 1-3 times during hurricane season. I don’t feel like putting up and taking down plywood every year like a demented carpenter. And I hate the NYC humidity, so I’m certainly not going to like coastal Florida. I hate beaches and the sea, too. Someone can be there in place of me who would enjoy that scene much more. I want to be inland. I’d rather feed my balls to lion cubs than run an AC 8 months a year and sweat every day while hunting snakes and water bugs in my house. I’m good.
I live next to a swamp, and in 11 months haven't seen one snake or roach. Due to the breeze it's rarely humid here. But hey, I guess life in NYC ain't that bad after all..
