Maybe this is how New Zealand got so fucked up? I lived there for 10 years, awhile back. At that time every legal resident was required to vote, not just citizens. NZ was having a massive influx of Asian and Pacific Islander immigration. And then Peter Jackson imported all the Orcs, Elves and Hobbits.
