Some states have no background checks for these Home Health Aides. In NYC, probably 90% of them are Black. We have a background check here, but some of them submit fake papers and claim false identities. I knew of one personally who was not a citizen and was from Trinidad and I actually work with one who is on felony probation for strongarm robbing someone for their backpack. It is very dangerous to have strangers (particularly Black ones) in your home. It only takes a couple of days for these bitches to feel comfortable enough rummaging through your shit to look for valuables.
