He is a little cheesy and he his main claim to fame is his gang of ne'erdowell neighborhood watch rejects, but he is typical of old school NYers (not these pussy transplant Generation Y Hipsters and Millennial scumbags we have now) in that he isn't afraid. I'd take him over Eric Adams, but he Adam is going to destroy him in the election. Adams is definitely the lesser of Democratic evils, though, For that, I'm thankful. If that Maya Wiley got nominated, that would have been two Commies in a row.

PR stunt.

I thought the same. If so this wouldn't be the first time he has staged a PR stunt. Back in the 90's, he pretended to have been abducted by the mafia. Still, I'll take this modern-day PT Barnum over Communists. At one time, he really did ride the trains and fight crime. When he did it (late 70's to late 80's), NYC was more dangerous than it is now.
