Some of this doesn't make sense though. You wouldn't be transplanting organs from an infant "headless or otherwise" into an adult. That just wouldn't work. More likely they are growing them for the blood.... the lack of a head would preclude adrenochrome, but I wouldn't put it past them to be just saying they don't have heads. Also, I'd be skeptical of artificial wombs. Wombs are incredibly complicated and interact with the whole of the mother's body, including the immune system. More likely they would just kidnap some poor women and forcibly implant them with these "embryos", at the end of gestation, the woman would either give birth, or be discarded.

I suspect they have been doing this for decades. These people have suppressed medical technologies and are keeping it for themselves, so they can live very long.
