I think the biggest change is I am now more selective in the battles I choose to fight, and how I go about it. It's like the Serentity Prayer:
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Yeah, AA too. Still has some validity. It kinda loses its point when it is just recited automatically.
For me it was the decision of what man I wanted to be.
Will I waste my lifes work chasing temporary pleasures?
Can I look the lord in the eye when my spirit ascends, and embrace him knowing I've done good works?
These are the questions you must ask yourself when you think life is taking a turn for the worst.
