During his Thin White Duke period he wore NAZI uniforms and lived off of cocaine, White milk and red peppers while making pro fascist, right wing statements to the media.

Ironically it was just a controversial character because he was a coal miner.

Have you seen any of his movies? I think he was a pretty good actor. Loved him in Labyrinth, he also did the music for it.

My favorite, though, would have to be The Man Who Fell to Earth. The uncut version has some freaky parts, but all in all, a very intriguing and captivating story.

Very talented dude. I saw his show in 2004. It was 3 hours and he had a lot of fun. Made a lot of jokes, knew the area well. Very memorable show.
