It's by far one of the toughest songs I've ever heard - and I listen to extreme metal and electronic music - and also produce it myself. This song was about a combat Marine named Jeff Luce, who unfortunately committed suicide after he got home from duty. The lyrics were influenced by his diary which he wrote in daily, even after his combat tours. A nice, normal regular day was written as a smiley face with the date.
