This was a great era. Probably the last wholesome urban music genre before everything went to shit. Mostly NY and Miami-based Latinos and Italians (These are Puerto Ricans) contributed to this era that ran from probably 1986-1992. This is my favorite group/album of the genre. Great production and good singing.The album has 3 or 4 songs I still listen to. I believe Romeo JD from the old school rap group Boogie Boys produced these beats, which are fucking nuts because they're highly layered and complex to me -- especially when contrasted against Boom Bap rap beats of that time,
