18 is still just as strong as she was back in the Cell saga. 17 kept training (apparently the andriods (actually Cyborgs) CAN get stronger) and is Super Saiyan Blue tier. They also have infinite energy, so they pretty much did their own thing, and cleaned up the people that weren't worth bringing in Goku/Vegeta/Frieza for. 18 eventually got knocked out, but 17 still managed to be a huge asset to the team. Probably 90% of the opponents in the tournament were Roshi-tier, so 18 still did incredibly well, even managing to take out a bunch of very heavy hitters.

Some crazy shit happened and the android are badass again at that point I guess I haven’t watched super but I kind of know the plot.
