Probably 20 years ago I saw that the spin doctors were doing a show at a local venue. $10 tickets. Like most people my friends and I only knew the one song. Only one friend wanted to go with me. It was an absolute blast. I think the only time I left a concert early was one ozzfest when Ozzie called out sick so maiden closed the day with a double set. I appreciated the sentiment, but I am not a maiden fan by any means.
