A few years back someone told me about this band. He showed me a video on his phone. J-Pop meets metal. I didn't think much of it.

The other day I saw there is a huge metal show in LV in April. I looked into it. It's sold out. I see Baby Metal on the card. I decided to give it a listen on my home theater.

Holy fucking fuck!

Talk about inspiring. If you know what it is your looking at musically, and can appreciate how 3 little girls can command a crowd of 20,000, with a music genre they made work from scratch. This shit will at least give you goose bumps, if not make you cry.

Then again maybe it's just the white empathy kicking in. Seeing 20,000 people singing in unison without music, and the fact the pit just stops and joins in, is stunning..

There is a lot of symbolism, triangle and the eye on the stage. They throw up what looks like a horned hand, but the tip of the thumb and the tip of their ring and middle fingers are together. They claim it's a fox. Representative of a fox god that told the bands creator to meld J-Pop and a Metal band together, in a dream. https://pic8.co/sh/sOnvOE.png

I'm not sure if this is satanic because whenever they show the triangle hoisted, it's upside down (pointing down). For a Christian zealot any god that is not Jesus's father is by definition unholy, but I don't think satanic. I could be wrong, as I'm not one.

It doesn't really matter. Music is about emotion. Opening the song with a flag walkout, to call for a wall of death. Then jumping on their horses and riding into battle, is fucking sick.

If you are a band headlining a show you do not want follow Baby Metal unless your Metallica big.
