My new phone doesn't have the fucking headphone port, and I didn't realize it before buying the thing. So I can't connect it to my garage stereo system.

If this is for a stereo system (that's not intended for using with movies) you can use a device with a high fidelity and a high latency. Using for movies would likely cause the audio to lag about 7 frames behind the movie.

So, purely for music, I believe that you might want something using the Sony LDAC codec, as it has the most fidelity amongst Bluetooth codecs. I believe this codec is not fully implemented on iphones though, as they like to use the shitty AAC codec which is terrible for music IMHO. I'm pretty sure that LDAC is fully supported on most android phones that have a qualcom cpu and using at least Android 8 though. So, with all of that in mind, I believe this is the nicest bluetooth DAC currently on the market, and will fail back to the highest fidelity codec that your phone can support, even if it doesn't support LDAC:

Another, slightly cheaper option is this one:

Get a different phone.

Bluetooth is radiation. Radiation is toxic to human biology.

Don't use Bluetooth, radiation bad (ISM bands). Just get another cell phone, radiation good. (Surrounds and in between the ISM bands).

You do realize it'll be emitting 5G and Wifi constantly anyway, right?

Oh, in that case, then let's add even more radiation!

You got a 5G phone with no headphone jack. You're already retarded, what harm could a bit more radiation do?

It's all about risk mitigation, fren. Sometimes we choose not to. Lessons will be learned in one form or another.

Bluetooth is lossy and only good if you are nearby. If you can get a wifi one you’d be better off.

Any suggestions?

Unfortunately not since I don’t use the technology. Something like this looks good, but since it’s Bluetooth you need to be within range. If that doesn’t matter then Bluetooth will work. https://hifitrends.com/2022/05/08/the-best-audiophile-bluetooth-receiver-dacs-for-your-stereo-2022/

Well, typically I would just set my phone down on top of the toolbox, plug the charger in, plug the audio cable in, and then start my tunes up and walk away. My garage is only 1/3 bluetooth's range from it's furthest corners.
