Are phonk and hardbass really niche out of europe? I thought it was basically the only thing.
Only bands I know of that are those that are legit out of europe are Parov Stellar and Caravan Palace. And Parov Stellar is basically a sampling band / just mostly instrumental retro swing homage band so I'm not 100% sure it counts as new music really.

I gave Caravan Palace a quick listen just to understand what you're talking about. That kind of music (I think it's called electro swing) I've always associated with Steven Universe/Hazbin Hotel-esque tranny shit.
