I never liked country music. Songs tend to be about simple minded shit.
Rock/metal is vasty superior, with deep lyrics, meaning of which is often open to interpretation. Usually involves lots of talent with instruments.. guitar especially.
I appreciate it because it is from a simpler time. It’s our culture…where our grandparents came from.
The modern stuff bares very little resemblance to the antiquated relics of the past.
Its good to have awareness of it, but we've innovated beyond it.
i don't see that any of that matters. I prefer classical to anything else, and that is centuries old.

Old country, country western, outlaw country, alternative country is alright though
Bluegrass > country music. The latter has been stifled by jews for decades now.
I do prefer folk (which I feel covers all these things) and bluegrass
Some of it I enjoy but it is by no means my favorite genre.
