Miss my vinyl collection. Lots of good old and new

CDs aren't that great, they get scratched easily, and stop playing. Sound doesn't seem as full.

I doubt it's a case of "Wow, look how many records were sold" and more of a "Wow, look how few CDs are sold these days" thing.

Kind of like around 2000 or so when the RIAA was whining that more data CDs were sold than those special recordable audio CDs you used to be able to get for standalone recorders. They were implying that people were using them to duplicate CDs, but in reality they had become cheap enough that you used them as sneakernet devices.

I know that I've bought no CDs in the last 5 years.

CDs for audio are non existing at the moment. If people are audiophiles, its a high quality streaming service or vinyl
