The sound of those roaring ovens in Auschwitz.

I think that was covered by The Doors. Come on baby light my fire.

The Sound of Silence

Yeah, that one should be at least in the top 50.

There are songs I hate, like Stairway to Heaven and Hotel California yet I can admit their 'greatness' ... but "Smells Like Teen Spirit"? What a pathetic song, where's the greatness.

[–] 2 pts

The greatness was in the timing. At the time you had cock rock talking about girls and partiing. Smells like teen spirit ushered in the world of Grunge.

I see, never followed them, or that 'genre.'

But as a good song, can't get that.

Nirvana killed the hair bands of the 80's. Im a metal head so while I liked Nirvana I wasnt the biggest grunge fan. However no doubt Nirvana changed the music industry at the time.

This is an easy question to answer. The number one song of all time is "Happy Birthday." By a mile, in a landslide. Do some research, and you all will understand why I am correct.

Yeah, I think I remember hearing that.

Actually "Crazy" by Patsy Cline and Linda Ronstadt should be on the list somewhere.

Okay. I legit haven't looked shit up. I think RS would call Old Time Road the #1 song of all time; I think it sat at the top of Billboard the longest.

I think what used to be the #1 is Darude's Sandstorm. Duh.

Fascinating!

[–] 1 pt

I was kidding about Darude. What's the scoop? What used to be the #1?

[–] 0 pt

Lol. "Like a Rolling Stone."

[–] 1 pt

What are their metrics?

[–] 0 pt

Ain't that a great question.

I always assumed it was simply their opinion, their 'taste,' but I could be wrong.

I know there is a "people's choice" list and also a Billboard Magazine list (I guess those would be the best sellers of all time).

number one song

Based on marketability and hype.

I think Amy Winehouse was elected to be in the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" before KISS, though they suck, that's ridiculous on the face of it.

[–] 2 pts

The fact the ROCK N ROLL hall of fame has acts that are not Rock is BS.

I know. All political, all agenda driven.

Game show Jeopardy now has lately been running fags and lesbos and trans', and a negro when they can find one smart enough, ruining the show.

,The FBI remake was better , "Smells like Trump voters"
