Piano Quartet No. 2 in G minor, Op. 45 by Gabriel Fauré
French composer Gabriel Fauré would complete two piano quartet works in his lifetime. The second quartet would be completed in 1887, with the premiere performance being given in January the same year at the Société Nationale de Musique in Paris. Fauré dedicated the work to German composer Hans von Bülow.
This quartet is comprised of four movements: I. Allegro molto moderato II. Allegro molto III. Adagio non troppo IV. Finale – allegro molto
