Good ol' "Vocal Fry" Rogers. The man never could sing for shit, but he was talented at marketing himself. I remember watching Rogers and the First Edition in his series Rollin' On the River. It was a watchable music-variety show. For some reason Rogers kind of reminds me of Herb Alpert -- more business talent than musical talent.
