Waltz in C-sharp minor, Op. 64, No. 2 by Frédéric Chopin
Chopin would complete this short work for piano in 1847, and is the second of his two opus 64 waltzes (the first being his ‘Minute Waltz’). This work would be dedicated to Charlotte de Rothschild, the daughter of the banker James Mayer de Rothschild. Chopin tutored Charlotte on the piano in 1841, and would dedicate two other works to Charlotte over his lifetime.
