I had a Facebook friend back in the day in England with same name/surname as me though it's German, but also common in England. It was funny how alike we were. Also got some swiss, Hungarian and... Irish in me... I have a terrible joke about that.

Quite the mix you have going on there, though European civilisation is very old and our ancestors are far and wide in these regions, i believe we're the true kin of the 12 tribes, our flags demonstrate this
