I have noticed the show steadily getting less funny. I forget which season, but they made it in a serial format and it was pretty bad. It has come back some from that.
I don't agree with the politics they are driving as much anymore. They used to be more libertarian but now it seems they are leaning left. I like to think I can appreciate good satire no matter the tilt. Problem is, it just isn't that good anymore.
I'll give them credit for that "Strong Women" episode.
Yes!
That was good. That is the type of satire they need to be doing.
I'm sure they will do whatever script they are approved for as long as they get paid and that is kind of libertarian in some ways, matt and trey have freedom to make money I guess if foolish woke cartoon network execs want to give them money. I won't watch it, south park sucks now but it's not a terrible state of things such as the mass media which is supposed to tell us the truth, the cartoon show was always just making fun of stupid people, now it can't do that so it's less funny. Humor and comedy in the end is always based on people doing stupid shit, and we laugh because we can relate, we all do stupid shit sometimes, or know someone that does. We call this a clownworld because if it wasn't so serious and lives were at stake it would make us laugh, if the woke people were just jesters or comedians putting on a show that'd be ok to laugh at them, a comedy movie is harmless. But it's real. South Park can't make fun of that.
