Quite a list..Great memories i bet..It seems you had the best days of music!
Yes, lucky I had a big brother who let me go with him everywhere, he was a concert fanatic and still is to this day, massive LP collection. Also Grand Funk and Cat Stevens, probably several more, crazy. I talked once to Willie Nelson one on one back then, tried to sell him some terrible songs lol, he was very nice.
Unfortunately i was too young to witness such greatness, but i know my mother & her sisters did..They loved to watch bands, they seen Led zeppelin, the who, moody blues many more...mainly British bands, as they were from Birmingham Uk.. I am an English lass
I'm pretty sure I saw the Moody Blues and I think I saw Zeppelin but I don't remember for sure lol.
Neat, I flew into London in about '98 for the first time, so many muslims, we knew someone who let us tour Christchurch at Oxford.
Went up to Barnoldswick and then on to Scotland to several small towns and cities and Isle of Lewis. I don't think I went to Birmingham. Oh, according to the map we probably went through it, we were driving.
I did think it was neat crossing the Mersey, that area was legendary to us cause of the Beatles.
Have you been to the states?
