What would you call that, speed metal? I do like stuff like that but I can't listen to it for long periods of time and I definitely need to be in the mood.

I used to listen to Ministry a lot probably the closest band to something like that.

A lot of people have a lot of opinions on what the "genre" would be called. All Shall Perish has a lot of metal and hardcore influence, so "metalcore" was a term that used to be used a lot. I prefer to just call it "heavy metal"

I get what you mean by needing to be in the mood. Getting screamed at never bothered me, and the talent of the band members is what always made me smile when I would listen to guys like this. Some of the best guitar players and drummers in the world play in bands like them.

After high school I delivered pizzas for a bit. I used to jam out to heavy stuff while speeding to the next delivery. Faster runs, more tips. I used to drive like a total A-hole for that job.
