Rock music, confederate flags, not a nigger in sight, white women without tattoos everywhere.

I can only dream

Been to several concerts in the 1970's in Louisiana and in London England. Not one black face in sight. Everything from Frank Zappa to Sex Pistols. White people having fun.

I was born too late

The 1950's was the golden age. Here's one of those Louisiana boys named jerry Lee Lewis, whose song John Lennon calle the greatest song of all time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_-KcKLy9X4

So amazing to have lived through several decades. Yeah, I was actually in that crowd on the stadium field in Oakland:. Traveled over 200 miles west to get there. Famous producer Bill Graham put on at least two of those all-star, 'day on the green' rock shows each summer during the mid-seventies. Things were so different back then. No one even considered that there would be any danger, no one got searched to get in, just pure music, freedom, and joy. Lynyrd Skynyrd was one of the very best bands of the time. They met their end when three of them were killed in a tragic plane crash just three months after they gave this performance.

Anti gun assholes

Are they? Seems to conflict with the confederate flag and all

Actually its disputed, some think so some dont. The flag is southern, nothing to do with it. I grew up with them, I think they are (were)

The flag represents resistance to federal/centralized government. Guns are kinda necessary for that. Do you have any quotes or anything of them being anti-gun?
