I was 19 and had a wife , a baby, and a 66 Mustang. Already making more money than I knew what to do with.Guess "I lucked up" and had it made the whole time.
I got married in '76 and had the first of three boys two years later... still married to the same woman. :-)
My wife was killed in a home invasion. >> In 1997.. I adopted 3 kids one was 3 and her baby sister that was 1 ish. Then another one since her mom was going to jail for ever. I ended up with 1 boy and 4 girls.
Sorry to hear about your wife, that's a tough one... but, good on you for taking kids that needed a stable home.
Condolences, but you stepped up admirably. You did a good thing.
