The 45rpm single was issued on Invictus 9079 - Patches (Johnson-Dunbar) by Chairmen Of the Board, produced by Holland-Dozier Co-written by Ron Dunbar and lead-singer General Johnson, this tune was initially included on the group’s LP “Give Me Just A Little More Time.” As Clarence Carter’s cover version was headed for the #1 spot, the Chairmen track was also released on 45 (the flip of their top-40 single “Everything’s Tuesday”).
