Don't mean to sound flippant. Voat has become such a shithole of late, other than occasionally checking out the memes there, I avoid it. What once was, was great. What it's become is just a right wing Reddit mirror site. The thrill is gone.
I understand, and agree, that the vast majority of V, on a day to day basis, is indeed a very 'dramatic' site filled with anger, angst, and singular viewpoints. That's one reason for the invite, as the FNGT is an outlier many may have missed due to the reputation of the rest of the site. It's going on almost 2 years now and is a good respite from the daily grind. As ol' Billy said - "Music hath charms to soothe the savage breast". We just want anyone, from anywhere, to share their talents with others and be recognised for their passion.
I know both of us enjoy music, even the same genres, and this is an attempt to spread those joys with as many that wish to do the same. It's all good.
