Nocturne in F minor, Op. 55, No. 1 by Frédéric Chopin

Chopin completed this as part of a pair of Nocturnes in 1844, with the works being published in August the same year. It is at this time that Chopin would begin a rapid decline in health, and would die in 1849 at the age of 39. The cause of death was likely tuberculosis, but other ailments may have contributed.

The song “For the Damaged Coda” by the band Blonde Redhead is based on this work, which was in turn used as the theme song for the ‘Evil Morty’ in the TV show Rick and Morty.
