Actually, this song brings up bad memories for me. It involves the Mennonites.

I love the Amish and I respect their traditions... I thought the Mennonites were like gregarious Amish who reached out. ...but when I was hungry, the Mennonites shunned me. I was hungry and looking for work and the Mennonites wouldn't even give me a sandwich.

...I'll never forget that.
