Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, Op.18 by Sergei Rachmaninoff
Rachmaninoff completed his second concerto for piano and orchestra in 1901, with the first premiere of the entire work being given the same year. The work was dedicated to the physician Nikolai Dahl, who helped Rachmaninoff during a severe period of depression.
