The Matrix Doors shows were in 1967 when they were already established. The the London Fog 1966 recording that is out there along with their Columbia demos.
I know they were stablished in 67 but this really seems like it was before they were anything
They had spent years getting their music down by 1967 so of course it sounds like The Doors. London Fog was when they were working on it.
The point of this post is that they had fully finished the music and the sound and yet no one that was in that room gave it shit. It really made me see the power of advertising
