Let's fucking hope not!
I’m sure (((they))) will continue to push it on us to further the emasculation agenda
The Koreans have been trying to break K-poop in the States for a decade +, with little avail.
The short answer is no, for multiple reasons.
The music is intentionally 10+ years behind American music, so that it already sounds familiar to people. The bands/acts are all impossible to relate to for most of the potential audience, and the fans...
oh, my the fans.
K-pop stans are the dumbest, most easily led creatures you'll meet. They reminded me of cult members.
The industry of K-pop is as creepy as you'd expect, as well.
*I worked on several large K-pop marketing projects as a third party back in 2010-2013 - huge potential for it, but it never gained traction with US audiences, no matter what they did.
It's at the peak, maybe its the novelty of the videos, and soon they'll realize they don't need an asian blonde if they like to view blondes doing synchronized dance moves in music videos.
North Korea has better music.
North Korea (or at least Kim Jong Un) said K-Pop is cancer lol
K-Pop might stand a chance in countries that have a high proportion of Korean population, but in Europe I don´t see this happening any time soon, there are far more chances of Nigerian or Pakistani music taking over the top music spots in the EU than K-Pop.
