Over-rated song, but under-rated band.

The song still does kick ass, doesn't it?

It's the only Rush song I like.

Wow, I will try ... give it a chance ...

Come on! It's about freedom!

I gravitated towards other bands when I was in my teens [AC/DC, Sabbath, Maiden, Priest, DKs] so there is no nostalgia there for me.

I listened to all Rush and bought albums of ACDC, Black Sabbath, (no Maiden -- my close friend had every cassette tape), Priest was a faggot, and I don't know what DK is ...

Again, we did different things at the time.

LOL -- overrated band ... my sides!

"what you say about his company is what you say about society"

What does this mean?

What is something you'd say about someone's company that you would also say about society?

That he's boring?

What do they say about his company?

It's a song. I hope you don't look for philosophical insights in musical lyrics.

But I'll try ... LAWRZ ... your company, the folks that are around you are kind of a reflection of "collective" society, at least in your area. Otherwise, they wouldn't be your "company." Grok?

Yeah except mega philosopher Neal pert wrote all the lyrics.

So there was definitely some intention to the word salad.

Yeah except mega philosopher Neal pert wrote all the lyrics.

Neal backed off on Ayn Rand (who cares) and capitalism (don't really care again) like a pussy (that I do care -- breaking liberal in old age).

Made me sad. Very sad.
