Yeah, apparently there has been a big struggle since they lost their contract with Columbia Records years ago, and have had to actually reclaim the rights to their own songs. The release of this new album was delayed while they searched for another record label, finally making a deal with Concord Records.
I agree wholeheartedly with what you are saying, but I question the context in your use of the word 'usury' which applies specifically to the practice of lending money with excessive interest attached. It's interesting that there are laws defining and prohibiting usury, which limit the amount of interest we the people can charge others, but the banks and all of those defined as 'financial institutions,' are specifically exempt from the usury laws and can charge us as much interest as they want. So by law, it is impossible for those institutions to be considered usurers. lol
