I don't find them to be a rip off of Led Zeppelin. I'm actually greatful we have another good rock group going. So what their singer sounds like Robert Plant. So what that their sound is a bit similar to Led Zeppelin's. Plant actually gave these guys a shout out in an interview a while back and likes their stuff. It's better we have these guys than having Lil Pump running around saying Gucci Gang 24/7 and talking about how ignornant he and his friends are.

Hopefully these guys, Airbourne, Avenged Sevenfold, The 1975 and others can bring back the old rock sounds from the 60s, 70s and 80s.

Also if you doubt The 1975, look up their song Love Me, it sounds similar to Fame by David Bowie. From what I know of Bowie, they're similar to some extent of what he did. Mick Jagger is actually friends with Matt Healy, The 1975's frontman

This feeling you have about Greta Van Fleet, maybe it's the same I had about The Black Crowes a fair time ago. I found them to be Led Zeppelinish, bit trying to have an identity. Honestly, I didn't follow their career. About GVF, IDK, I hope they'll evolve to their own thing, but right now I think they sound too much like LZ. Not that they're bad, but maybe they're really trying to sound like LZ, you know? And that 1975 thing, I heard the song, and well, it's very clear to me that they wanted to sound like Fame. I'd have to listen more to have an opinion on them. But about your overall opinion, yeah, it's better having competent musicians making enjoyable music than totally original garbage.

For starts with The 1975, you might not like them. They have one of the best sounds going, but their lyrics are degenerate. Specifically "Love if we made it" took a jab at President Trump. The music video went after Kavanaugh. Listen to their albums from the first to the newest. Also watch the music videos while listening in order. It helps their music to make more sense. Some of it is open interpretation with the lyrics, others are direct. It depends on the song

For GVF, look up their new album "Anthem of the Peaceful Army." It's different from Zep and sounds a lot like what they're probably influenced by.

I think I've heard of The Black Crowes. I'll have to give them a listen

I don't care about which political views someone put in their lyrics. I can enjoy the music and disagree with the lyrics. The black crowes are that "the remedy" band.
