Don't generalize people. Take them on a case by case basis.
Everyone generalizes because pattern recognition is a thing and many patterns exist among people.
A pattern may exist though it does not mean every person fits into said pattern.
Even though everyone may do something, it still does not make it right. By generalizing, one makes an assumption about individuals even though they do not know that person. All that does is it puts bad views onto those who do not hold them. A lot of users on this site make assumptions and generalizations about African Americans. If those were true, that would mean we would not have Thomas Sowell's Basic Economics, one of the most important Free Market Economic books ever written.
