Yeah. The new record has some fun breaks/segues. The textures they chose are interesting as well. There's a melodic dissonance to it all that perks my ears up.

Exactly! I like that melodic dissonance, especially when it makes a song a little less easier to figure-out on the first listen. Much more interesting than when something reveals all on the first pass.
