What are your thoughts on the current state of music in your county (or the world)? If there is something you got on your mind, anything music share it.

I got a few thoughts of my own to share

Attack Attack! is back with their new song All My Life (youtube.com) and they claim it is about former Presidential Candidate Bob Dole (reddit.com)

Jamie's Elsewhere came back and did a good job sounding like Jamie's Elsewhere and not the Aaron Pauley/Post-Austin Carlile era of Of Mice & Men. Here is a link to their new song "The Soil and the Seed" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lBF0FBjCHXc

New Years Rockin Eve for years has failed big time to have any actually good music acts. It was better when Dick Clark was hosting but I'll give Ryan Seacrest credit where it's due. For the record, he is part of why we ended up with the Kardashians

Anyways, Wolf Van Halen has some great stuff set to come out next year. I recommend listening to his interviews with Howard Stern and Eddie Trunk in that order. Stern Interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4spNAKL6Qpc Trunk interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGsc34Vftkw

Also speaking of Van Halen, Sammy Hagar's son Andrew released this song Cold Knife Karma: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-JhALQ5aQs Sammy also did an Eddie Trunk interview recently after Wolfgang's, which can be listened to here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4hNtI7IpIw

Also @TheBuddha can probably help explain this one; why do some electric guitars STILL have less than 24 FRETS. I WANT THE TWO OCTAVES. Idk, I always have felt it is just down right dumb for electric guitars to not have 24. Then again, Fender and Gibson are notorious for this and yet Guitar Center fills their walls with mostly these instruments and they wonder why they had to file for bankruptcy. Ironically, Fender's subsidiary Jackson (which makes amazing guitars btw) has 24 Frets. I have no clue why 24 is not the standard issue some guitar manufacturers and is truly beyond me.

Last thing, since Tyler Larson/Music is Win Guy is friends with Paul Reed Smith, he managed to get Paul Reed Smith to make him a fretless guitar. Here is the video if you'd like to watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZhokdoTv4Y Also like the video so that Tyler can have Paul sign that guitar

I would love to hear some music that truly tickled my fancy. Haven't heard anything exciting in too long (not that I have time to search), and sadly most of what I grew up with was kike agenda crap that I can't help but notice.

Feel free to share.
