Apparently most of the tapes were nabbed by one guy who worked there from 1986-1994 and made it a goal to try and get all the weekly tapes before they were binned. There are some amazing elevator mixes of popular 80s songs in some of them.

Okay, I graduated from engineering school in 1993, and none of my white male friends could get jobs. A couple people, it was like their company put them through school, and a couple people signed up for the navy thing, but other than that, only blacks and females got jobs. Bad time for the engineering economy..... ANYWAY ...

One of my buddies was managing the garden department at K-Mart. You youngsters may not remember this, but there was always someone grabbing the mic, "Attention K-Mart shoppers ...." They had an ongoing problem with shoplifting, and it seemed like every other day, someone(guess the skin tone) was getting wrestled to the ground in the parking lot. So the new version was, "Attention K-Mart shoplifters ...." It caught on.
