I have some ancestors and close generations of German in me. Part of the reason I learned some German in school and I just enjoy music in other languages thanks to the interwebs. My grandfather was a lineman in West Germany for a while but I never got to meet him, and that influenced my own dad. I live around corn in the US fly-over country.
